Moving Home!

So it is official I will be moving home in a couple of weeks. Mom is going to be flying down here on the 25th to help me drive back. I am the worst long distance driver, so I am going to need some help. I spend the most of today going through all of my stuff to see what I could sell, what I could ship, and will most likely fit in the car. If anyone has not heard of or used the SPACE BAGS, well you need to get clued in. Probably the best invention made by man, about half of my closet fit into one jumbo bag after all the air vac'ed out. So the goal is to leave Orlando on Friday the 26th and be home hopefully the 27th or 28th. So I look forward to seeing everyone when I get back.

Oh the weather of Florida!

I am getting exited to know Payton will be here soon. It seems crazy how fast the time flew by. I remember Amanda calling and me telling her to go take a pregnancy test, and sure enough all of those symptoms and the test assured the family of her muffin in the oven.
Just to rub it in, I know it is snowing up there right now, but it is 84 degrees out right now. I bet you all wish you were vacationing down here right about now. This is one thing I don't miss about Kansas.

Tyson's allergic to something!

What and interesting day off. It all started with getting up at 7am so Tyson and I could make it to the vet by 830. Tyson had to get his updated shots. He was suck a bad boy at the vet. They had to mussel him, which has never happened before. Usually he just gets the shots and it doesn't bother him. Anyways we got the shots, left and was over half way home when I realized Tyson was getting bumps all over his skin and he was starting to swell up. So I called the vet and we turned around and went back for him to get a shot of benadryl. We got home and the swelling went down, but then it came back after a few hours. So i gave him some children's benadryl this time. Poor baby, he has been so miserable. He kept scratching himself. He is doing better now.

Now all we have been doing is laying around all day and making sure he is not swelling up again. I went on a date last night!!!! FUN FUN. I went to an Orlando Magic game last night. It was my first time. The seats were amazing. Sam (the guy) has season tickets, and they were amazing seats. We were 4 rows up from the floor. By Far my best date ever. The Magic won, so it was even better.

Winter in Florida

So I know you are all going to be jealous when I tell you the temperature. It is around 50 and people have on heavy jackets. Now it does get down to the 30s at night. Tyson is not liking the weather. He doesn't want to stay outside longer then he has to. He runs back in the house and burrows under the covers. Everything is good down here though!

Welcome 2008

I know I haven't updated my blog in awhile, but i have been busy. It was good to see everyone while i was back around Christmas. I miss everyone already. I have been so busy trying to get back in the groove of things. So I got a new phone and it is so cool, but complicated. Don't worry it's still the same number. My first touch screen phone. So Tyson apparently missed me because he looked so skinny when i got back lie he hadn't ate in days, but my friend that was watching him said he kept his bowl full. I really think Tyson has a serious case of separation anxiety. When I got home from Kansas, I opened my luggage and he dug in there and found his Christmas present from mom and dad. I didn't even have to get it out. He probably smelt a little of the other dogs on it and figured it was probably for him. I got back to work finally on Jan 2nd. It was horrible. On Jan 3rd my friend Sedric and I went out to eat for his birthday. we went to Colorado Fondue! It was so much fun!!!! I may just go there sometimes when I my sweet tooth kicks in because their cookies n cream fondue was amazing.

We just wanted to first say "Happy Holidays" to everyone! Everything is good down here in Orlando. I have been busy lately so I haven't put a post up. I have been working and getting everything ready to come home in 16 days! YES IT IS 16 DAYS AND COUNTING! I am so ready to see the whole family and check out Amanda's muffin in the oven! She has a doctors appointment scheduled when I come home so I can here Payton's little heart beat! I finally put up some holiday decorations, and Tyson is thinking that the Christmas tree bulbs are new toys, so I had to strategically replace some of the bulbs so he doesn't touch them. I had a very interesting Thanksgiving/Birthday. I spent the day at my friend Shantalle's house with her family. I made some homemade rolls for our dinner, and apparently they were more like biscuits because I forgot to add the egg, but they turned out good, and everyone else liked them. Usually they buy rolls from the store, so they really enjoyed the homemade biscuits I made. I can't wait to get to see everyone for the holidays and I will try to post a new blog more frequently.
